Many young people of this generation, especially those before the success of social media, remember what it was like to wait impatiently every Friday for a new episode of Alain Possible on Ticket magazine. This comic serie filled with humor and twists has charmed an entire generation, and even beyond borders through its various albums. This year, Alain Possible is back, but this time in cartoon format. In 2006, barely 22 years old, Teddy Keser Mombrun walked through the doors of Le Nouvelliste where he had an appointment with Frantz Duval, the editor-in-chief of Ticket Magazine to present his article project to him in comic format. Shy, but determined, he takes his courage and exposes the comic book universe of the young schoolboy of Emler Emile. The drawings were made on paper and without color, but already, you could see in the eyes of the author, this flame, this desire to please. The entire Ticket team was thrilled by this proposal and shortly after, Alain Possible landed in the pages of Ticket and it was a success!
A year later, he released the first album: (compilation of the best episodes) Alain Possible and company on the occasion of Livre en folie(an annual national book fair in Haiti). Since then, it has been an annual appointment for a new album by the favorite schoolboy of Haitian youth.
Adapting a comic book into a cartoon is the best way for the author to make his work known on a larger audience and Teddy is very well aware of this. That’s why after a few years since he had this idea of seeing his characters come to life on screen, he finally publishes the trailer for Alain Possible’s animated series on his social media.
